I saw Andrew Bird last night at The Paramount in Seattle and it was good. He played beautifully as always and the band was lovely too, and the lighting was spectacular. The actual performance was one of the best that I’ve seen. He played ‘Why’ and it was SO lovely, I love that song. But something was strange, I’ve never been to a concert where you sit and I was in the WAY back and it made the glory of seeing him live a bit anti-climatic. All in all it was good but I hope I get the chance to see him perform again in a smaller venue. (Photo from Seattle Weekly)
